Colin opened the new competition season at the first Junior Karate League tournament of the year, which was also his debut in the U14 age category. Competing in both kata and kumite, he started the day slightly nervous in kata after a difficult experience at last year’s Swiss Championships, but quickly found his rhythm. Performing confidently in his new professional kata gi, he won all rounds and secured the gold medal. In kumite, Colin also delivered a strong performance, winning all his fights and claiming another gold medal. This victory marked his 11th consecutive gold medal in the Junior Karate League, and he remains undefeated in kumite in this league since June 2022. The tournament was therefore a very successful start to both the new age category and the new season.
