I started karate when I was five years old, and now, seven years later, training is a big part of my everyday life. So far, I’ve completed more than 1,000 training sessions. I train at the Kimura Shukokai dojos in Winterthur, Wetzikon, and Volketswil under Sensei Loges, as well as at the regional training centre in Sursee.

I currently hold the 1st Kyu (the highest brown belt) and have won dozens of medals at national and international tournaments.

What’s next?

I have recently moved up to the U14 category and my goal now is to establish myself in this new age group. My goals for the coming years are clear:

• defend my national title
• participate in international ranking tournaments
• pass the exam for my Black Belt (1st Dan)
